Kintsugi is the art of repairing broken ceramics by filling in the cracks with lacquer topped off with gold or silver dust. This kintsugi specialist tries to make every piece 'better than new', which she says is the underlying philosophy of the craft - keeping things in high regard and finding beauty in the cracks.
