Today we take a look behind the scenes at KNIPEX: We have recently expanded our factory with production hall 23. For the cabling of the machines in it, we use a really thick power cable that has to be able to conduct almost 30 KV and 250 A at times. Outer diameter: almost 50 mm. Of course, we use our own cable cutters, which are available in lengths of up to 860 (!) mm, to process such huge cables. The big ones even cut copper and aluminium cables up to Ø 100 mm; therefore, the "small" cable cut
